Job Opening at Our Lady of the Mount

Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church has an immediate opening for a part time (up to 28 hours per week) Parish Business Office Coordinator. This position is responsible for organizing and managing the office  operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency of the parish. The Parish Business Office Coordinator is the liaison between the parish and the archdiocese in human resources and other business and accounting related matters. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of two years of college; two to three years of related work experience, preferably in a church setting; formal training and experience in bookkeeping/accounting; strong knowledge of and willing to function in a manner consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel and Outlook); excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective record-keeping systems.
