OLMCC Food/Supply Pantry

Thank you for your generous contributions to the parish food pantry. We have made significant donations thus far to the “Blessings Box” at the public library in Trenton. I stop by there often on Wednesday afternoons and make a donation on behalf of all of you.

Your donations have also been a great help to people living in the tent communities in Chattanooga, whom we are assisting through the Hot Meals ministry. Hot Meals ministry is now in the process of establishing a relationship with two major local grocery stores willing to allow us to have some of their excess produce. We are still looking for a good place to donate some diapers and baby formula we have accumulated. Let us know if you are aware of any non-profit organization that will accept these items. I am especially grateful to see the outpouring of support coming from both Our Lady of the Mount and St. Katharine Drexel. We are truly all in this together! Donations are always accepted at OLM in the church narthex or at the parish office anytime. SKD donations can be dropped off before or after Mass in Nethery Hall.

Clothing items that you have donated have been distributed as needed to the men and women in the tent communities. We have been able to help make a difference for those living outdoors in the winter cold.

May God bless you. – Fr. Mark
